Nestled by the shores of Tangxun Lake, the largest urban lake in China, the Ecological Cultural Park of Hubei University of Economics stands as the heart of the campus landscape, sprawling over 650 mu (around 107 acres). This enchanting destination embodies a harmonious blend of education, research, tourism, and culture, dedicated to the themes of experiential learning, ecological tourism, and cultural immersion. Here, the aspirations of cultural heritage, academic inquiry, talent cultivation, and community service intertwine seamlessly.

 

景区环境良好,景色宜人,积思河水质清澈,穿园而过。樱花谷、银杏园和梅园为景区亮丽名片,每年竞相绽放,美不胜收。香涛林、时光林、栖凤林和芳华林灌木丛生,树种丰富,其中芳华林中的栎树林为武汉市现存规模最大的栎树群落。经世柱、三校文化微缩雕塑、经济学家雕塑长廊、钱币陈列馆、计算工具陈列馆为校园文化重要组成部分,承载着学校百年来的辉煌历程、人文精神和经管特色。楚菜文化展示中心和非遗食堂汇集了多种传统楚菜小吃,是景区的又一特色,在品尝地道美食的同时,也能感受楚菜文化的独有韵味。

The park boasts a pristine environment, with the crystal-clear waters of the Jisi River flowing gracefully through it. A tapestry of beauty unfolds with the Cherry Blossom Valley, Ginkgo Garden, and Plum Garden—each a vibrant testament to nature's artistry, blooming in a riot of colour each year. The Xiangtao Forest, Time Forest, Qifeng Forest, and Fanghua Forest are overgrown with shrubs and rich in tree species with diverse flora, including the largest existing stand of Quercus variabilis in Wuhan, creating a picturesque landscape. Iconic installations like the Jingshi Pillar, miniature sculptures representing the cultures of three schools, and the sculpture corridor honoring renowned economists, the Coin Exhibition Hall, and the Calculation Tools Exhibition Hall serve as vital components of the campus culture, embodying a century of illustrious history, scholarly spirit, and features of economics and management. The Chu Cuisine Culture Exhibition Center and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Canteen offer a delectable array of traditional snacks, allowing visitors to savour authentic flavours while immersing themselves in the rich culinary heritage of the region.
